Technology Checkouts Galore

We’ve been busy checking out technology (laptops, hotspots, webcam, headsets) to students for the Winter semester!  Technology will be due back April 28.  Laptops are on a timer which will lock out/close at the end of the Winter semester, when IT will reimage and update them for Summer checkouts. 

There is no reservation system for the technology – it’s “first come, first served”.  A user agreement must be completed upon checkout and students must show a drivers license or state ID with photo.

Technology Loans Due 12/17

All student technology* checked out from GRCC’s Library is due back at the Circulation Desk on Friday, Dec. 17, sooner if you are done with it for the semester.

Laptops are on a timer which will lock / close at the end of the Fall Semester, when IT will reimage and update them for Winter checkouts.

The Library is extending hours for returns only on Saturday, Dec. 18, from 8-3. The Circulation Desk will be open, but all other areas of the Library will be closed.

Laptops Available Again!

Last week, we asked students to return laptops that weren’t being used – because we had none to check out to those who needed one. THANKS to all who returned them early; this week, we have just over 100 laptops available to check out!

Stop by the Library Circulation Desk – with your RaiderCard – and check out a laptop – or other technology you might need to be successful.

Remember, all technology is due back December 17. The Library Circulation Desk will be open on Saturday, December 18 from 8AM-3PM to accept technology returns. Laptops will cease to work at the end of the Fall Semester, when IT will reimage and update them for Winter checkouts.

Please Return Technology

Students, if you have stopped using your GRCC laptop (or other technology*) checked out from GRCC’s Library, please return it to the Circulation Desk immediately so we can check it out to students who need it.

We’re down to ZERO laptops to check out right now, although we have plenty of Chromebooks to lend. Chromebooks don’t work with lockdown browsers used for testing.
