Throughout the Summer, most of the Library staff greeted incoming students and their families at New Student Orientations.
At Raider Rally, Librarians Mike Klawitter and Paul Ruschmann, along with Interlibrary Loan Specialist Kathy Schoen, met over 600 new GRCC students. They answered questions about library collections and services, and gave out really good swag when students Liked Us on Facebook. Circulation Specialist Toni Harrington and Librarian Sophia Brewer met with students at Tuesday’s Woodrick Diversity Center Block Party.

Hundreds of students attended Raider Rally last week; most stopped at the Library table. Katherine & Kathy passed out candy, “swag” and campus maps. They showed students how to create a free New York Times account.
Library employees will also be hosting a table on Involvement Day, Wednesday, Sept. 6 on Olivarez Plaza. We hope to see you there!

Kathy Schoen, Interlibary Loan Specialist, and Paul Ruschmann, adjunct librarian, represented the Library & Learning Commons at Raider Rally on Saturday, August 27. They spoke with over 285 students and their friends and families, answering questions about the LLC and extolling the traditional and online collections and services.
Students were eligible to win $35.00 Barnes & Noble Gift Cards.
