If you plan to vote in the Michigan Presidential Primary on Tuesday, March 10, be sure you are registered to vote! First time voters have until Feb. 24 to register to vote at the Secretary of State’s office, online or at voter registration drives. After that, registration will be accepted at local clerk’s offices, but voters need to provide proof of residency.
GRCC is hosting a voter registration event at the Tassell M-TEC on Thursday, Feb. 13 from 9-10. On the MAIN campus, voter registration materials are available in the Student Life office in the Student Center.
Feb. 24: Last day to register in any manner other than in-person with the local clerk.
Feb. 25-Mar. 10 8PM: In-person registration with proof of residency with the local clerk.

This is your final reminder from us here at the library to go out and exercise your right and wear your “I voted today” sticker proudly! Once that final ballot is counted and the winner is determined, there is no more that can be done and we will have to stand together as a country, accepting whomever is chosen through our democratic system to be our President. Being informed and exercising your right to vote is the best way to create change, so be sure to voice your opinion through your ballot today!
