New MeL Database: Poetry & Short Story Reference Center

When poetry or short stories call your name, take a look at a new database, Poetry & Short Story Reference CenterPoetry & Short Story Reference Center logo, available to GRCC through MeL Michigan eLibrary.  You can search the database by itself, or through our new OneSearch service!

This full-text database provides hundreds of thousands of classic and contemporary poems, as well as short stories, biographies and authoritative essays on topics including:  poetic forms; movements; and contemporary content from publishers. Our own Katie Kalisz, who will read from her new work of poetry on Thursday, Feb. 21, is included in this database.  See Kalisz, Katie. “The Gypsy Moths.” Dappled Things, vol. 9, no. 3, Sept. 2014, pp. 90–91.

If you’re off-campus or using wireless, you may be asked to log on with your last name and 7-digit Raider number.
