April 2021 is Occupational Therapy Month. The occupational therapy profession “makes valuable contributions in helping people “Live Life to Its Fullest” after an illness or injury.” The profession emerged during the First World War to serve physically injured and shell-shocked soldiers; the American Occupational Therapy Association celebrated its 100 anniversary in 2017.
