Faculty  – if you have copyright symbolquestions about using copyrighted materials in your courses, contact your  assigned library liaison  for assistance. There are many legal ways to avoid having to create expensive course packs.  Your librarian can help you with understanding how to use our Copyright Clearance Center Annual License; with verifying citations and determining a copyright holder; using Course Reserve; and, permalinking licensed library resources into Blackboard.   Please take a look at the Copyright Subject Guide.

Linking Workshops for Faculty & Staff

Linking Library Resources Subject Guide imageLearn easy – and legal – ways to provide permalinks to licensed library resources (e-books, e-journal articles, and streaming videos) in your Blackboard courses. These sessions will teach you how to find and use permalinks to populate your Blackboard with quality, college-level content. Participants must be Blackboard users (faculty/instructional or staff/organization) with rights to edit course/organization content.

  • Friday, November 4 – 351 Main – 10:00am – 11:00am
  • Wednesday, November 16 –  TBA Main –  2:00pm – 3:00pm
