Starting next Monday (April 16th) the GRCC Library will, once again, be hosting Exam Cram! Come join us to take advantage of the quiet and group study areas, expanded tutoring services, crafting sessions, and FREE refreshments all week long! We will be open during regular hours during the week and EXTENDED HOURS on both Saturday and Sunday. And don’t forget—library fines will be waived upon request during the week of Exam Cram. We look forward to seeing you!
Last week, the Library and Learning Commons hosted another successful Exam Cram event—thank you to everyone who attended! If you still have studying to do, we will be open during normal hours this week and we still have some leftover snacks, so stop in while they last!
Good luck on exams!
If you weren’t able to make it to the event last week, here’s a photo of what you missed:
Reminder: Exam Cram starts today and runs through Sunday, April 23rd. Take advantage of our quiet study and group work spaces to prepare for exams and complete those final projects. And, while you’re here enjoy free refreshments and a variety of stress relief activities!
Extended hours will once again be offered on Saturday and Sunday, April 22nd and 23rd, with the library being open from 10am until 10pm both days. Expanded tutoring services will also be available during these extended hours on the weekend.
New this semester, you will also be able to have library fines waived from your account during the week of Exam Cram. To take advantage of this limited time offer, or to learn more about this option, stop by our Circulation Desk located just inside the entrance, on the 1st floor of the library.
Also, check out our “Relaxation Stations” that are located throughout the Library. These tables include coloring pages, Kids Food Basket lunch sack decorating supplies, magnet making supplies, mindfulness materials, and simple yoga instructions. Turn in your works of art to be displayed at the Library or take them home to give as a gift!
