The Library and Learning Commons (LLC) hours during Exam Week & Semester Break are:

• OPEN Mon. Dec. 11 – Thur. Dec. 14 7:30AM – 9:45PM
• OPEN Fri. Dec. 15 7:30AM – 5:00PM
• CLOSED WEEKENDS  Dec. 16 – Jan. 7
• OPEN Mon. Dec. 18 – Fri. Dec. 22 8:00AM – 5:00PM (limited services)
• CLOSED Dec. 23 – Jan. 2
• OPEN Wed. Jan. 3 – Fri. Jan. 5 8:00AM – 5:00PM (limited services)

We re-open with regular library hours on Monday, January 8!

LLC Exam & 2016-17 Semester Break Hours

Library & Learning Commons hours for the 2016-2017 Semester Break are as follows:

• December 12-16 – Exam Week, Regular Hours (7:30-9:45 Monday – Thursday; 7:30-5:00 Friday)
  
• December 17-January 8 CLOSED Weekends
• December 19-22 8:00 – 5:00 Limited Services
• December 23 – January 2 CLOSED
  
• January 3-6 8:00 – 5:00 Limited Services

Exam Cram is coming!

This semester’s Exam Cram event at the GRCC Library will be here before we know it!   Here’s what you need to know:

WHO: YOU!  All students are encouraged to attend.

WHAT: Expanded tutoring services during extended hours on Saturday & Sunday, free snacks & refreshments, quiet & group study spaces, extended hours, stress relief coloring stations 

WHEN: December 5th – 11th: Monday thru Friday, during normal library hours; Saturday & Sunday, open 10am until 10pm

WHERE: GRCC Library

HOW: No registration needed, just show up during the event hours & take advantage of the free snacks and services!

Another Successful Exam Cram Event

One the weekend of April 23rd and 24th, the Library hosted its end of the semester event, Exam Cram, which once again proved to be a success!  Over a hundred students took advantage of the extended hours, tutoring services, free refreshments, and quiet study – we are so pleased by the turn out and thankful to all who attended the event!

The Library’s planning committee, would also like to send out thank you’s to Student Alliance for funding the costs of refreshments, as well as to Library student employees and staff, Academic Support and Tutoring, Facilities, and Campus Police for providing coverage during the extended hours!  The event would not have been possible without the cooperation of each of these departments.

Summer Hours Adjustments

As a reminder, we will be switching over to summer hours on May 9!   Here’s what we’ll be open through the next few weeks:

Monday – Thursday, April 25 – 28:  7:30AM – 9:45PM

Friday, April 29:  8AM – 5PM

Saturday & Sunday, April 30 & May 1:  CLOSED

Monday – Friday, May 2 – 6:  8AM – 5PM with limited services

Saturday & Sunday, May 7 & 8:  CLOSED

May 9 begins summer hours:

Monday – Thursday:  8AM – 8PM

Friday:  8AM – 5PM

CLOSED over weekends all summer.
