Join us each day for library and tutoring service, FREE snacks and beverages, computers and printers to finish those final papers, and a variety of seating options for QUIET STUDY! On Wednesday, join us for a FREE CraftSanity Relaxer, where you can chill while learning how to do English Paper Piecing. On Saturday & Sunday (Dec. 7-8), we’re open EXTENDED HOURS from 10 AM – 9 PM! If you’re feeling a little end-of-the-semester stress, you’re not alone.Plus, you’re totally invited to come to the GRCC Library & Learning Commons from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. Wed., Dec. 4 for a free CraftSanity workshop with Jennifer Ackerman-Haywood, an adjunct journalism professor and handmade business lady.During the session, Jennifer will teach attendees how to use English paper piecing techniques to create patches, soft jewelry and full-sized quilts. While the workshop will not allow enough time to make a quilt, participants will each go home with a portable project to stitch on the go.
Exam Cram for the Winter 2019 semester will be held from Monday through Saturday, April 15 -20, with extra long hours (10 AM – 10 PM) Saturday!
This semester, in addition to the free snacks, quiet and group study spaces, and Saturday’s Drop-in Tutoring, we’re offering a FREE Embroidery Workshop with Jennifer Ackerman-Haywood, host of the CraftSanity Podcast and GRCC adjunct journalism professor. Embroidery samplers and all supplies will be provided. Last semester’s weaving workshop was a blast and this will be too. No experience necessary. See you there!
