Meditation & Prayer Room Is Now Available

By: Brian J. Beecher
Director of Library & Learning Commons

The new Meditation & Prayer Room is located in the southeast, first-floor section of the library.  This project was a collaborative effort by the Library faculty & staff, Office of Student Life and Conduct, and students from many faith- and non-faith backgrounds.

The room can comfortably accommodate 6-8 people, but can hold a maximum of 15 people.  The Meditation and Prayer Room is intended to be a quiet, welcoming and inclusive environment respecting the beliefs, traditions and cultures of everyone.  The room is meant for individual calm meditation, reflection and prayer.
